Wedding Venues in Perth
Perth and Western Australia.. What a fantastic state to have a wedding! The colours & contrasts of W.A. will lend their magnificence to your wedding photos and whether it's June or December there is a place in W.A. that will have perfect weather anytime of year. But where do you have your ceremony and reception? And how do you know you will be in good hands on the day? As a DJ I have experienced the quality of service of many popular reception venues first hand since 2003. Below I have picked my favourite wedding reception venues throughout Western Australia and written a tiny review for each. Please note this is the experience I had personally had whilst entertaining at these venues and keep in mind the staff, your function coordinator and chefs that you have on the day will ultimately decide the quality of your venue service. North of River Venues in Perth This is one of my favorite reception venues on the coast north of Scarborough. The service was great on the day and overall venue very tidy. It would be nice to get more ocean views from the function centre but the views of the Marina make up for it. Worth visiting to see if it's your style. Vibe: Intimate, Beachy & Modern. Joondalup Resort is surrounded by a beautiful, well maintained golf course. The service was brilliant at a reception I did in the Jacaranda room. It's a cozy shaped room and the dance floor is small but everything else such as food & service was perfect. Vibe: Lots of Greenery, English & Classy
South of River Venues in Perth Red Herring Restaurant Fremantle Wow! What a great place for a reception. The entire restaurant sits over the water and boats & yachts float past as you dine. If your lucky a dolphin will swim under you as you go for a stroll on it's small private jetty. The food and service absolutely brilliant! If I was to get married in Freo, my reception would be at the Red Herring Restaurant. Vibe: Ocean, Has that Old Fremantle Feel
Swan Valley I really do like the feel Sandalford Wines. The food & service is spot on and the age of the winery shines through in the (fairly new) Oak Room and 100+ year old grape vines you can sit under and sip some red. This would be in my top 3 wedding reception venues choice in the Swan Valley. Vibe: You can feel the History, Grapes & Wine,
North Western Australia If you want the service, this ia the perfect place for a Wedding Reception in Cable Beach. For an indoors wedding either the Sam Male Room or the Club Restaurant are the best choices at the Cable Beach Club. An outdoors reception is perfect on the Cable Beach amphitheatre. Watch Camels casually stroll past and enjoy what I would call the most beautiful sunset in the world. You can get an idea what the sunsets are like at my other site Broometime Wallpapers. If you do not live in Broome I totally recommend Broome Weddings to help with your planning. Vibe: Casual yet Elegant, Broometime, Sunset Pearly Feel (Those are the words that come to mind anyway ;) Established in 1916, The Sun Pictures is oldest operating outdoor cinema in the world. The uniqueness of this venue places this venue in a league of it's own and is the perfect setting for a wedding reception. There is a large wooden floor for dancing and plenty of room for hundreds of guests. You could even screen an old movie or home video on the big screen. Sun Pictures is well worth considering for your wedding reception. Vibe: Old Broome Feel, Pearling History, Definately Has Unique Character If a venue has been reviewed above have faith they will know how to cater for your reception. If you are looking for more venue advice I recommend signing up to the www.weddingwa.com forums and asking other brides / vendors of their experiences. More reviews coming soon and good luck with you planning!
